An employee who takes information security seriously is always a champion and should have the following habits

1. Always watch out for the unusual
2. Respect the privacy of others
3. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL before you leave the workstation
4. Never discuss sensitive information in public
5. Always follow clear screen and clear desk policy
6. Never allow family members to use your office laptop
7. Make sure that your antivirus signatures are updated 
8. Never use your office mail id to send personal mails or vice-versa
9. Never disclose information related to your job or company in social networking sites , blogs & chat rooms
10. Never open an unsolicited emails or suspicious link on your office laptop or machine
11. Never access your company mails or sensitive documents on an untrusted computer
12. Never entertain a stranger in your workspace unless his credibility is verified
